VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Vic Waters, a member of the B.C Entertainment Hall of Fame, has passed away at age 89.
Waters started in radio in 1938 at CJOR. It was the only station he ever worked for, as a studio operator, announcer and later program director. He retired in 1969 after hosting the morning show for many years.
Waters was also the man who gave CLEAR FM's Red Robinson his first radio job in the 1950s.
